02/27/2005: "No more CarLo :("

I’m crushed. Word is that Tamara Braun is leaving GH when her contract is up. She is half of my CarLo obsession. The chemistry between her and Lorenzo’s portrayer, the always fabulous Ted King, is a large part of what made CarLo so compelling.

There's talk of recasting Carly but chemistry can't be replicated or forced - it either is or it isn't. Good luck with that recast, GH.



It shouldn’t surprise me that TIIC (the idiots in charge) at GH are willing to lose half of this super-couple; they never seemed to realize what gold they had and instead wasted time on less interesting couples and violence - oh yeah, always plenty of violence on GH.

I can't blame Tamara Braun for leaving. The way GH was writing Carly made me sick to my stomach and I was just watching it, not having to go to work everyday and act it out.

Ted King's contract is up soon too. Some of my fellow CarLo fans have expressed the hope that a smarter soap will snap both of them up and give them the front-burner storyline and high-quality writing they deserve.

Here's hoping. I’m follow Ted King and Tamara Braun wherever they go.

If they both leave GH, there will no longer be any reason for me to watch. Think of all the time I’ll save!
