06/10/2005: "Rewrite Again?"

I heard back from one of the editors about the reworked story. He really likes it but sent me yet another list of things that are wrong with it. The magazine hasn’t rejected it yet, but it seems likely.

I don’t know why this story is giving me so much trouble. I just can’t seem to get it right. But I like it too much to give up on it. At least so far.

I don’t know what I’ll do. I’ll have to think about it. But first, junk food.
