Finished First Draft
I finished the first draft of that story this morning. But man, it’s awful!
I have to keep reminding myself that the first draft of anything is bound to be dreadful. That’s just the way it goes. You have to get the basics of the story down first, then worry about making it good.
The story is currently at just over 5,000 words. I’m sure that will change in editing.
I just hope I can turn the cruddy first draft into something worth reading.
