Lost in Austen + Pride and Prejudice
I've been enjoying the British miniseries "Lost in Austen" that's been running on the Ovation channel.
Here's the basic premise:
A modern-day Jane Austen fan finds herself transported to then trapped in the world of Austen's novel "Pride and Prejudice."
(Sounds like fun, right?)
She, of course, falls in love with the romantic hero of the book, Mr. Darcy, and causes all manner of disruptions to the storyline.
I am also a big fan of the movie "Pride and Prejudice," the one starring Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Bennet and Matthew Macfadyen as Mr. Darcy.
