Two Quotes I Keep Thinking About
Here are two quotes that I heard recently and can't stop thinking about:
1) "You gotta get caught up to get ahead."
(Yeah, I know. I’m trying. I’m trying. It just feels like the light at the end of the tunnel keeps getting further away.)
2) "Sometimes when the body has been in pain for a very long time, it takes the brain a little while to get the message that the body is no longer hurting."
(Wow. Really? I wonder if that's true. Could explain a lot. And it's just wacky enough to be true. File that tidbit under "Things that make you go hmmmm.")
